What To Do With Aa?

Analyze poker hands and ask advice on what you should have done in a situation.

I was playing Sit & Go and there were 5 players left at the table. Everyone had about the same amount of chips (~1600).

I received AA and I had the final call, hoping that someone would raise before me. One person raised to 150, another player called, everyone else folded. Now it's my turn. How would you play with AA in this situation?

Would you call? Raise? Go All-in? Maybe fold :D?

I went all way down and raised to ALL-IN.
The guy who raised first folded after some thinking.
The other guy who called the first time, called my All-in. He had 8 and 9, same colour.

Would you agree with my choice now? :)

Of course, NOT! :)
Most of the time I would still go ALL-IN!

MY CARDS:
AA

OPPONENT'S CARDS:
89

THE FLOP:
Q84

NEXT:
3 and 8

:D :D :D

Conclusion:
AA is defeated by 89 in an All-in game
:D

I dont understand.
So u had a raiser in front of you who raised to 150. BB was 50?
One caller.
U want to make as much possible with this hand.
Only an idiot will call if u raise all in, and ofcourse some idiot does.
You can do this with low limit poker but dont try this with higher stackes becouse no one will call and u get very little Value for a great hand.

So i would say raise tot 600 or 750 and raise after flop all in.

Basically, at this moment I play $10 and $20 short handed SnG Tourneys. Almost always, there is some "lucky" guy who might call your all-in even if you're holding nuts. But definately, you must be aware of what kind of people are sitting at the table. Will they call you? And what kind of idiot might call an ALL-IN with 8-9 ??? :o

So u like the lucky player to call?
I dont like to play against lucky peeps becouse of these beats.
So i would never raise all in with AA on a 150 raise.
My AA get cracked 7 out of 10 anyway. (stats at poker office)

Your statistics don't sound very encouraging....
My stats show that I win 9 out of 10 all-ins with AA when there is only 1 caller and about 70% with two callers.
I think that's pretty nice ;)
