Two New York Congressman write editorial to the New York Post about their support of online poker and gambling.
The New York Post recently published an editorial penned by U.S. Representatives Steve Israel (D-NY) and Peter King (R-NY) on the subject of supporting efforts to regulate and tax online poker and online gambling. The current direction in Washington is to ban it, but some representatives like Israel and King look for ways for online poker to benefit the United States. The article, titled "Web Gambling: Tax, Don't Ban", explores the options available for regulating online poker instead of outlawing it, pointing out that "federal law-enforcement officials have bigger fish to fry."
