I think you will get junk experience in freerolls, cause freerolls are not real poker, its just gambling festival.

But you know, a lot of players are starting in freerols, because there they can practice without losing money and without any investments.

Just because in poker biggest winnings come with learned mistakes

I want to say, that freeroll is not a competition for some cash... Actually, most of the people usually want just to TRY it... And then they get addicted... :)

Agree :) Freerolls will never give you the skills necessary for normal poker games. You can understand the basic rules by playing freerolls but you'll never learned real poker tactics there.

I don't seem to understand what you want to say here rimvis. Freerolls should be banned in order to prevent newbies from incorrect knowledge about poker tactics? I totally disagree with that. I think newbies have to start with freerolls and then after 2-3 freerolls try to invest into real poker.

I don't think you read the whole discussion since my opinion was different regarding freerolls. I'm trying to say that freerolls might be a good thing for beginners to learn how everything goes and how to play poker. To learn some ideas about tactics and to get a decent understand about poker.

But those who believe that they will play freerolls for 2-3 months and then they will be pros in real tournaments or cash games, will never achieve their goals. Yes, at the beginning of your poker career, freerolls might be good to learn the basic skills, but if you want to move to a higher lever, you should drop freerolls and start playing real money. No deposit bonuses might be the best place to start.

Play with that money and don't be afraid to lose it! you'll learn much more than playing a freeroll.

I just started to play, but I like freerolls because I am not a REAL player, I am just an amateur and I like to spend my time playing poker for fun :)

I think playing freerolls is not worth the time you spend, but for example in CD Poker there are private freerolls, where you receive a password and you can win a sum from an amazing prize pool of $1000 :)

Kind of dissagree with you. Even though there is a prize of $1000, it's still a freeroll and the playing tactics is totally different. Nobody wants to waste time and almost every time they receive a decent card, they push their whole stack up front. I do the same, actually. So, I get bored of such a game after half an hour and start doing crazy things until someone calls me with a good card :)

It's still a freeroll and it's still the same tactics - go all in whenever you have a chance to double your stack :)

I think we should play in private Poker Liberation freerolls :) cuz not too many players come and prizes are quite high.
