$1/$2 cashgame, I have around $200 in font of me, SB has around $150.

I get dealt the snowmen (88) on cutoff and make it $6 to go, both blinds call. Flop 28J rainbow.

SB bets out $10, BB folds, I reraise to $30 and get called instantly. Turn is another 2.

He checks, I bet $30, he calls. River is an eight.

He thinks for a while and bets $50, I put him all-in, he calls and opens pocket ducks, followed by a load of highly censored words

He was the one who would've get the bad beat jackpot, not me. I won the pot.

But no - usually bad beat jackpots are given out if quad eights or better are beaten - he had only quad ducks.

i think it has to be 9999 that loses at least. of course smaller sites can make it 2222, but in the big sites it is hard to win it.
