PokerZion : The Graveyard

Hi guys, I wanted to introduce myself and tell you what PokerZion is all about. I'm Russell Blattberg. I've been playing poker for about 5 and a half years. I'm 19 years old, and am roommates with Kadabra. I play poker professionally and am a poker coach. I run coaching site http://www.pokerzion.com with my partner John Anhalt. I specialize in no-limit holdem tournaments and cash games.

I play 2-4 through 10-20 NL regularly, but now that I'm playing professionally I made a promise that I won't play above 3/6 NL until July 4th unless I can get someone to buy a piece of my action or can get a stake.

I play on stars as loosefer, ftp loosefer88, and cake as loosefer.

At PokerZion we have a unique coaching model.

This is how the process works:

1. Based on the results of a 20 question test, your poker weaknesses and strengths are assessed. Our Iron Lion mentoring system then automatically assigns you learning modules and video(s) to address YOUR specific needs. You'll then be assigned to a personal poker mentor that will work with you and answer any questions you have (via email).

2. When you complete a module (and watch your videos), you'll then be given a test to confirm that you've understood the material you've studied. Based on those results, the Iron Lion mentoring system will then assign you another learning module and video(s).

3. When you've completed the Iron Lion mentoring course, you'll then complete a series of interactive learning videos. This is where you'll get placed into the middle of the action of a tournament or cash game session, and have to make all of the decisions. Your answers will be scored, and all of the most optimal plays will be explained.

On top of all that, you'll have access to a poker article library, live poker t.v. broadcast, a poker video library (with 6 new videos added to your library every month), our iron lion video learning series, hand history reviews, a family style poker forum community where you'll meet new friends, discuss poker strategy and life.

In the poker pro chats we talk on skype and explain elements of poker strategy and talk with students about leaks and problems they've been having in poker.

We offer poker workshops that delve into the fundamentals and the intricacies of a certain part of poker.

We also offer railbird sessions which give students a chance to sweat me/John play and discuss the action.

We offer one on one coaching at extremely affordable rates. I coach privately for 200+/hr and through the site its much cheaper.
