Do you that that cheats really exist in online poker? I don't think it's actually true because people make money from that. ;) It's like a business for pro players to "steal" money from those who are trying to make money but they aren't so lucky.
So what's your opinion about Online Poker Cheats?

Not sure what you mean by cheating there .. Collusion is already out there , one reason I don't play shorthanded .

Every hand you play is recorded and stored , the bots of the future will be hard to beat that's for sure  .

No, dude! I don't believe in any poker cheats. That's just crazy. All poker rooms would be shut if something like this was true and became public. Nobody would be willing to play.

I think you got me wrong, thrash.
I totally agree that collusion is all around. And I'd never play Limit due to bots.

Some time ago I've tried a poker bot but he plays too tight to win money.

Does those bots can play well? And how to reveal one?

I have tried many bots myself. Most of them aren't that great. The best one I know of (that is free), is on this poker download page...

First of all - the whole bot thing is not as big problem as it may seem to some. Mainly because it is fairly easy (for a poker site) to spot one and poker sites are putting good effort on it and secondly because bots really aren't very dangerous.

Now to your questions:

mkalvenas wrote:Does those bots can play well?

No.

That's simply because for the bot has to be extremely intelligent to beat humans, meaning that the creator of this bot has to be a REALLY good poker player AND a really good programmer, but I seriously doubt if a someone who's really good at poker would risk his career through creating a bot ..
Despite what I said before, the bots might easily beat low limit games where the opponent's are playing very poorly. But for those players, this bot is just another player that is better than them, thus it doesn't matter if the (bad) player is playing against a bot or against a better player.
Personally, I would play with a bot ANY TIME. I'm confident that I can beat 99% of the poker bots created.

mkalvenas wrote:And how to reveal one?

Most of the bots have been identified noticing the exact same behaviour by different players. There's seldom two or more players who have the exact same tendencies both pre-flop and post-flop (playing the same cards and acting the same way in every situation). However, you don't really need to spot one because, as I said, bots aren't real danger to good players - just be happy if someone who seems to be a bot happens to play at your table and enjoy taking his money. Of course it would be nice to inform the management of the poker site, as well :)

Please, people, be careful when using this sort of applications. Those programs are (in the long run, at least) a certain way to get your account suspended and money frozen.

i believe that there might be some cheats, with which you can see other player's cards, however i don't think that anyone who has such cheats would tell anyone about it.

like there are various cheats for games ( like i would've never thought that in CS you could ever see through walls ), so why not spend some extra time making a cheat for poker sites?

You're right on that. If someone could really see other player's hole cards, he could make millions every month using this feature. Why on earth would he risk this opportunity by selling his method for a lousy $50?

Not a very good example.

The point is that the maker of CS couldn't give money's if some people can walk through walls, eat chairs or make a butterfly-tattoo on their arse, (and, by the way, those cheats, also called eastern-eggs, are generally made by the programmers of a game themselves, not some random guys) but poker sites do care, because they'd be facing some very serious lawsuits if someone would be discovered cheating at their site. Thus, they are doing everything to prevent any kind of cheating, and they're rather successful with it.
