No One Or Two Word Posts In This Forum

I see that some members of this forum are writing posts just because to get into GT poker freeroll.
I would like to say that I will delete all one and two word posts.
So don't write "sometimes", "never", "I do" or plain numbers. These posts make no sense. I will delete them immediately.
For posts like I mentioned You'll get a warning or you'll even be banned.

No cheap tricks here!

Deal.

(its just that I have written more than 2000 forum posts in my live and I have never got any of my posts deleted by the moderators. I want now to be the first time. LOL! - and, please ignore the stuff I wrote in brackets, so my one-word-(definitely-a-freeroll-whoring)-post would still qualify for deletion! ;))

I'm glad someone had a nice laugh on this :)
But, as everyone knows (and sees) there are some useless posts that could be deleted and are deleted if they totally make no sense. :D

It's indeed nice to see that my post served its main purpose (making a few of you laugh), but it had another, a bit more disguised, purpose as well: it was to argue over CatchKISS's statement that he will delete every one or two word post.

Don't get me wrong here - I'm a big fan of rules, I hate meaningless conversations (unless they're humorous) and I think CatchKISS is doing a wonderful job as an administrator - but those issues just can't be taken so black&white. The statement, quoting: "These (one/two word) posts make no sense", itself doesn't make much sense. There are number of one- or two word posts out there that do make sense. For example, if someone asked me a question and I answered "yes" or "no" then I really wouldn't expect my post to be deleted!

What I propose here is to make a general rule, stating that the forum is for people who are able to think and appreciate (and generate) quality content, and making meaningless and/or disturbing posts is forbidden. Those who can't understand this rule and need the "No 1 or 2 word posts. Period." kind of rules (written in bold&red text), are exactly the people who are making these meaningless posts and and I believe you would delete most of their posts even if they'd contain a hundred words.

I think this forum is somehow not naturally developed. I just write only for to gain points, but later maybe, I will come and for
more information ( this post is not just for points :) )

The posts in this thread make me laugh a lot :)

I'd like to answer you regarding the "unnatural developement" of the forum:

Yes, there are some freeloaders in the forum who just make some posts to be allowed to participate in the Private Forum Freerolls. I guess I won't need to put you in this category since you did that yourself. This requirement is made just to make you at least somewhat "pay" for the freeroll entrance and to make your life harder than it is.

Why would we do it? Just to make your life difficult?

The answer is no. You understand that GT forum is new, very very very new compared to the other sharks around the globe and it is very difficult to popularize it. One of the most important ways for the forum to grow is to be indexed highly by google. Right now, google already lists our forum among the 50 first poker forums which is wonderful. But that is definitely not enough. We want to be come one of the largest forums. Therefore, we need posts, posts, posts, and even more posts :)

And just to finish, I'll mention that we already have many loyal members who enjoy participating in the forum discussions and helping each other. The forum is developed for these kind of members. Thank you for being here and we'll do everything to make your stay joyful here.

janark, You're a nice guy.
I really like Your posts and read all stories.

I was talking about "stupid one-word posts". Of course I won't delete posts with one word ("yes" or "no") if there will be a question with request of answer (Y/N).
