My Four Of A Kind And Three All-ins :) : Poker Stories

this weekend we played at home. A little bit of beer and so on you know...

4 players left (3 paid)

I have about 800 chips, so I am short-stacked.
We play the game with 700 chips. But still 4 players are already out, so other players have a lot more than I do.
I am sitting in one of the worst positions just after big blind. I am afraid to be raised as I am short-stack.
Blinds are 100/200
I have 8K off-suit, so I call.
The player after me folds the small blinds makes a call and big blind checks! Great!
The flop comes:
KKK B) What else do you have to expect? First idea in my head - how to slow play that super monster hand. OK no need of this.
The small blind goes all-in B) Great! I am happy, but showing no emotions!
What else do I have to expect? Big blind calls that all-in I am so happy and I say call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Small blind shows AQ big blind shows 44
great B) and I won that game, being in a very good mood after such move B)

I think it wasnt too smart to limp for a 1/4 of your stack.. But whatever, nice flop

Definitely not smart. Sitting on 800 chips, with blinds of 100/200 you can't limp with ANY hand, not even talking about crap like K8o ..

I don't know how to play poker.
Maybe that's why I don't get Straight flush so often (I'm not calling with J7o) or whatever... :ph34r:

I know, but it was like the 5th game that night, and we finished it 06:30 in the morning... and I was already won some money, so I wanted to go to sleep... I played badly, but what can you say... I won

by the way, I never play J7 too

Hehe, played at home few times too, but...... beer finishes too quickly..... xDDD
for real, it's way better to play in real, than online... way more opponents reading..
