OK, You can read all my impressions about this meet.
could say only on thing - that was the best poker night in my life
I hope that the 2nd GT forum MEET will take place very soon.
1st of all I should say that it was an international meeting. We have a guest from Estonia (janark).
And probably he was a person who made most fun...
We had a long lasting way from Kaunas to Vilnius (because of Markas "going - not going" game).
The meet took place in some Bohemian bar. I don't remember name (and it's OK - I don't want to make a promotion).
Tournament in numbers
* 9 players
* buy-in 50LTL (2000 chips)
* one re-buy per person 50LTL (2000 chips)
* one ad-on per person 50LTL (2500 chips)
** 9 buy-ins (450LTL)
** 7 re-buys (350LTL)
** 7 ad-ons (350LTL)
*** 600LTL for 1st place
*** 300LTL for 2nd place
*** 150LTL for 3rd place
**** tournament started at 10/20 (30 minutes levels)
**** last level had blinds 400/800
**** last hand 78s vs KK (and board came 737xx)
**** winner - 777
After this tournament we (me, rimvis and janark) went to book a triple room... and there the after party took place
We got some food and drinks (~230LTL) and the SHOW started. Believe me... that was something what You can't imagine. Your brains can't create situations as we saw...
We started with MAD tournaments (stack 100 chips, blinds 10/20 - level-up after head-hunt). I won one tournament :rolleyes: (of 3 or 4)
Then there was a re-buy (20LTL) tournament. And 777 showed that it was his day. He took 5-6 all-ins in a row. Won 3 times against AK and pocket pair with really shitty hands (like 46s, 8Qo and A9o). So there was LOL
I lost all my chips just before ad-on period and went to sleep. But it was a big mistake <_< 'cause they started to play cash games.
And believe... there was no chance to fall asleep! They had fun, they were drunk, they made a lot of noise... and played sick poker.
When janark won with 33 against KK - I though that somebody will call police
I'm happy that I didn't try my luck there because I understood that janark was raising every hand and winning most sick hands in poker history.
And now I would like to read Your impressions...
+ fun things, bad things and suggestions for next meet B)
