Started trading with real money in 2005, so it's almost 3 years now. But before that I spent one year trading in demo account, trying and testing various strategies, reading books, studying charts, etc...

In my first year of trading I managed to make a small profit, but it was a TOUGH year for me. When your money is involved your psychology starts to kick in and you make stupid decisions and that leads to losing trades. First year I gained a lot of experience and real profit came in second year.
